RAINFOREST DEL ECUADOR is pleased to announce that the environmental technicians of the
auditing firm ICONTEC have completed their on-site physical validation of the UKUMARI Cloud
Forest project, where they verified compliance with everything detailed in the documents and
data submitted by the company in accordance with VERRA’s CCB (Climate, Community and
Biodiversity) Standards.
Within the 5 phases of the process to obtain VERRA certification, we are now in the 4th phase
of technical recognition by ICONTEC (on-site visit / physical visit to the forest), after which a final
report will be generated with which we can obtain VERRA certification.
The final project validation document will be uploaded soon and will be available on VERRA’s
website.
